Getting calendar to display
-
I preface my remarks with the note that I am brand new to wordpress and just started working on a site that was previously installed by someone else.
I decided to start with something simple: the calendar. The one installed simply would not add new events and my ask for help on this forum yesterday gave me no help. I am so new to WordPress that I didn’t realize i should write down the name of the plugin before I deleted it. I thought it was the calendar that installed with wordpress but after activating Calendar realize it is not since there is no separate events category in the sidebar but rather a manage calendar category.
Anyway, that is fine. No problem. So I input an event — and — I cannot find the calendar when I go to the site as it displays to the public. When I click on Calendar in the menu bar I am taken to a 404 error.
I realize there must be something I need to do to hook the calendar into the menu but have no idea what. When I read the Calendar tutorial it doesn’t give any information on how to get the calendar to show.
Can someone help me please? Thx.
