Getting blank page after making an update

    I created a child theme and I keep getting a blank page after I make an update on the page. I click the back button and continue my work but something isn’t right.

    I read the errors documentation and it looks like renaming the child theme folder on the server side fixes the issue but then the site is broken.

    I disabled all my plugins to eliminate the options that could cause the issue.
    I wonder if anyone else has this issue with this theme.

    That is really strange issue, first be sure you had developed child theme as per the WordPress standared. Here is the link for the same:

    And also check if you had done any custom changes on page.php file of child theme.

    thanks for your reply.
    I did follow the WP codex for creating a child theme.
    I did make changes on page.php. I replaced it with the original file from the parent theme and I’m still having the issue.
    Basically, every time I click on update I get a blank screen. Then I click on the back button and refresh the screen. I love the theme but it’s not a reasonable way to work.

    Can you share us error you are getting while updating child theme. And also the possible screenshot so that we can track down exact issue.
