Getting better and better … sadly … aSync is gone?

Hi Marc,

if you take a look at the changelog (which for some weird reason is being displayed under the “Other Notes” tab), you will see that version 4.4 introduced a new technology called Beacons. This replaces the Async feature previously available in Slimstat, and will be used by default for all the interactions between client and server. Beacons are asynchronous by design, so it should work with your plugin.

If that’s not the case, could you please explain what the issue is?

Thx for your reply. I’m using the Buddyboss Inbox Plugin. When sending a PM and I want to attach a file, I have to hit the attachment button twice, first time the fileselector or dialog opens and when selecting a file and hitting ok, nothing happens, second time … works.

In the prior Slimstat version I turned on the async mode, now, with 4,4 it doesn’t work anymore.

Hi Marc,

is there a way for the developer to look at this issue somewhere? Would it be possible for you to setup a demo site where he can test a few things without affecting your production site? The new configuration now uses async calls all the time, so I’m not sure why it’s not working if async was working before…
