getting and storing user contact info

    I was wondering if there was a plug-in or some other solution for getting and storing subscribers’ emails and zip codes for a fan email list on my recording label’s blog. the only plug-in I found was the wpsb-opt-in, but this doesn’t store the user info in separate columns in the database, rather it all get’s stored in one column and I’m not sure how best to retrieve that information without purchasing their email marketing software.
    Any suggestions?

    Hey thanks for the info. But…
    When I tried to activate the plug-in usermeta.php, I got this error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER in /home/creative/public_html/ames/wp-content/plugins/usermeta.php on line 30

    Do you have any idea how to fix this? I looked on line 30 and it was in the middle of a large block of comment, and had nothing to do with the actual code. hm…
