Getting an error with wp image refresh

  • Hey, I am getting an error with this plugin. It is fully updated and and I was getting errors. You can check this URL as an example:
    https://www.digitalaltitude.co/how-to-write-blog-posts-that-get-views/

    This is the error: [wp-image-refresh target=”_blank”]

    I deactivated and tried to reactive the plugin but now I can not reactivate the plugin, now I get this error:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_status() in /home/digital/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-image-refresh/functions.php on line 2

    I have screen shots but I can not find where to upload them.

    Hi @alomm,

    You are getting this error because of the older version of PHP. I think you are using lower than PHP 5.4 version.

    We are working on the fix and will release a new version soon with the compatibility with lower version of PHP 5.4

    We have released a new version of plugin and the PHP compatibility issue has ben fixed. Can you please update the plugin and let us know if this works for you?
