Getting an error when trying to run installer.php

    Hello

    I am new to using duplicator and a little new to XAMPP. I normally host sites I am working on within my web-dev server but this site is massive so I thought I’d locally host it to complete the work, as the hosting provider of the clients current site couldn’t give me access to the server I’ve taken a copy of the site using duplicator and downloaded the installer.php file as well as the package then dropped them into the htdocs folder within my XAMPP install.

    Both apache and mysql services are started and working correctly, I’ve actually installed a standard WP install to make sure this is working correctly at https://localhost/wordpress which has worked fine.

    Whenever I navigate to https://localhost/installer.php I get the error below, can anyone point me in the right direction.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in D:\xampp\htdocs\installer.php on line 729
