• Hi,

We are experiencing an upload issue with the plugin on our website.

The file upload functionality works correctly when using private/incognito mode in both Chrome and Edge browsers. However, in normal browsing mode, the upload fails, and I receive the following error message: “() Uploading a file fails for any reason”. Specifically, when a user tries to upload more files than the allowed limit, the error is shown for all files, not just the excess ones.

We also tried to upload files on the plugin demo URL (https://www.codedropz.com/contact/) and encountered the same error. Screenshots of the error are attached for the reference.

Please assist us in resolving this issue. If there are any specific debugging steps or additional information required, please let me know.

    Thank you!

    Hi @anur1993 ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I tried to my chrome normal browser and I cannot replicate the issue using drag & drop or browse.

As you can see on the video here.

Can you please create a video or demo on your end, maybe it’s from the browser or something.

Also, may I know your current chrome version?

    Glen

    Hi @glenwpcoder ,
Thank you for your prompt response.
This is the video demonstrating the problem on our end:
    https://jam.dev/c/e579fee4-0887-4a3e-89b3-f2496331014d
I am using Chrome version : 127.0.6533.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)
As mentioned, the issue occurs when a user tries to upload more files than the allowed limit in normal browsing mode. This behavior is consistent on our website and the plugin demo URL (https://www.codedropz.com/contact/).

Thanks @anur1993, I can see it’s a bug but I’m trying to figure it out as I cannot replicate it on my end.

I’m currently using a Mac with the Chrome browser. I’ll try to find another computer with Windows and let you know.

Can you also try with another computer with different network?

It’s strange; this is the first time we’ve encountered this issue, and we haven’t had any similar reported before.

It would be great if someone on see this thread and help us to identify the cause of the issue.
