    Hello!

After updating WordPress to the actual version (WP 5.2.1) I have tried to create a new post. In the beginning everything works just fine, but when I click “Publish” and then open this new post, I’m getting an error
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in %my-hosting-path%/%my-domain%/docs/wp-includes/blocks.php on line 253

This line of text appears six (6) times before the content. Everything else on the page is normal and displayed as needed.

Could it be theme issue? I’m using buildr theme in this case. Or is it a server fault?

P.S. I have several WP sites on different servers and they all work fine after updating to the recent WP version.

  • Hey there! I’m not facing an error like what you describe. Our website is https://treasureshowflat.com/. It is working perfectly. Perhaps you can share your website link to the error or a screenshot?

    1. Backup copy of website
When facing issues like this, you would want to have a backup copy of your website readily available before an update so you can revert any changes if your website crashes.

    2. Quick check on website
Let’s find and pin point where the error is coming from.. Try to change the theme of your website and make sure its not coming from your theme but the PHP version or WordPress upgrade that you just performed.

    3. If all else fails..
Contact your hosting provider to help them check it out! This could be the easiest and quickest way to resolve the issue. My hosting provider is Hostgator and they have done an incredible job at solving website or technical questions that we have. Also, your hosting provider should have a backup copy of your website too! ??

    Hope this help!

I’ve managed to solve this issue by updating PHP version on my hosting to 7.2
