The error you’re getting is odd – it’s the first time it’s appeared but it doesn’t even make sense to be happening given the line in question does have a variable defined. Also I wouldn’t know where to begin to try and replicate this error unless I had your exact set-up on my development machine to investigate.
Could you link me to the site where the error is showing?
Honestly there isn’t much I can do as it looks like something outside of the control of the plug-in is causing the issue. If it helps to know, line 448 is just a variable defined to get the excerpt of the current post.
Even if there is no excerpt present it still won’t error, unless the standard WP function for handling excerpts has been hijacked by another plugin for a different purpose, which seems unlikely but you never know.
My suggestion is a simple process of elimination – switch to a different theme to see if the error still occurs. If it still does, then disable plugins one at a time until the error goes away to see which one was causing the error.
Good luck and if you work it out I’d be interested to know the exact cause. Perhaps there is a common plug-in conflicting that I could make an allowance for. Perhaps.
