• When i try to rebuild my sitemap or add a post, it gets this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /homepages/31/d129942012/htdocs/ps3themes/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 274

On the settings page it says:

    # The last run didn’t finish! Maybe you can raise the memory or time limit for PHP scripts. Learn more
    # The last known memory usage of the script was 13.81MB, the limit of your server is 40M.
    # The last known execution time of the script was 6.31 seconds, the limit of your server is 50000 seconds.
    # The script stopped around post number 2928 (+/- 100)

I did what the FAQ said but it’s not working.

  • I have the exact same message (with different numbers of course). But the fatal error is the same. Is there a fix?

This problem went away for me after awhile but has come back after upgrading to wp 2.7. I have the newest version of the plugin and it causes me to get a Error 500 – Internal server error whenever I post or try to access the settings page of the plugin
