    Hi,

Are there any additional logs related to that particular page view? The error is simply saying that your server didn’t have a special 503 error message page to display, but doesn’t indicate what, if anything, caused the condition.

Could you clear the WP Super Cache? I’m seeing both pages load now and thinking it may be something got stuck in the cache, assuming it really isn’t a server issue.

    Thanks!

all the logs that im getting are like the one i posted…Not sure what it means….

Reason y its working is because i switched to the older version of jetpack..

I tried clearing my cache. Didnt work
I turned off all plugins and didn’t work.

Not sure what was going on but all my review posts would get a 503 page including all newly written posts.

as for the error log…its all gone now since i swtiched…only error im getting now is

2014-08-01 15:07:25.523 [NOTICE] [/home/soreelfl/public_html/.htaccess:127] Unsupported ErrorDocument URL: default, must start with ‘/’ or ‘http’.

but everything is running fine…I will have to wait to upgraid when all the bugs are fixed in the new updated verion of jetpack

If it is isolated to the review posts, I wonder if there’s something unique in the code for those pages that are causing it.

Could you tell me a bit more about your site? Are the reviews a custom post type? Does your theme have a custom template for those posts?

If so, could you send me the content? You can upload it to Dropbox and reply with the link, or use a Pastebin site.

If you would like to keep the content private, you can send me the link via our contact form at https://jetpack.me/contact-support/ and please include a link to this thread so we can connect the conversation correctly ??

    Thanks!

No Template within the site…I created a template for my reviews with a page in WordPress and i copy it every time I write a review

here is the code text used for my last review…..

I’m having this issue too after the most recent update. I cleared my cache but the issue persists.

It occurs through out the site. Both on WordPress Dashboard login as well as trying to edit or view pages.

I’m using the Twenty Thirteen theme. I contacted my domain provider and they said it was definitely a plugin issue.

@kirileonard: To confirm, you’re seeing a 503 error too? Is there any information in your site’s error logs about this and did the hosting provider give you more information on why they believe it is a plugin issue?

@soreelflix: I am seeing minor warnings related to the YouTube shortcode being used (e.g. [youtube https://youtube.com/watch/?v=EXAMPLE]) that, in and of itself, shouldn’t do anything like what you’re seeing. I’m tracking that down further.

Can you try the oEmbed method, e.g. pasting the link to the YouTube video directly in, instead of using the shortcode? The URL should not be linked and on a line by itself.

@both: Thanks for your patience. The 503 error suggests that the server is overloaded (more about it: https://www.checkupdown.com/status/E503.html ), so I’m hopeful that the hosting provider can provide additional information on what led to the overload as we’re working on our end to duplicate this.

They didn’t give me more information about why it is a plugin issue. When I have Jetpack activated I constantly get the error, as soon as I disable Jetpack, everything works. This only started happening after the most recent update.

My website is https://kirileonard.com/ – I currently have Jetpack disabled so the site’s looking a little wonky.

If you’re seeing it on the backend too, could you start a new thread since I think the issue may be different than what I’m thinking is causing it for @soreelflix.

Do you see the error on every single page of the dashboard or only certain ones? Does it continue if you disable all other plugins, besides Jetpack?

Great to hear! Please do let me know if anything odd pops up again and thanks for helping to determine the issue.
