I use Cleantalk on a number of site and they are starting to produce a 403 forbidden pop-up message on a frequent basis. It appears that the problem is a request passing a WordPress nonce code that is incompatible with full-page HTML caching.

Is there a way to disable the “nonce” check, or at least hide/disable the error being displayed on a pop-up message.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello, @jbundey

    Hello.

    Thank you for your request.

    Please, do the following:

WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Use static keys for JS check.” to “On” —> Save Changes.

    Then refresh your website cache.

    Did it help?

    Hi,

Looks like it’s worked. However, I’ll confirm for you tomorrow, as we’ve been able to clear the message successfully before and it keeps popping back in 24 hours.

    Thanks

We have added new fixes in the dev version.

Please, reinstall the plugin. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

    Here is an instruction:

    1. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    2. Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    3. After the automatic page refresh find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    5. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    4. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    6. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.

Can you check if the issue still persists?
