Getting $_GET['page'] when appending ?page=X to url

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to get the $_GET[‘page’] value when appending something like ?page=5 to the url. The problem is that WordPress converts the URL to blog/subpage/4 instead of blog/subpage/?page=4.

    How can I refer to the page variable?
