Four days ago I attempted to log onto my blog and got this error message which I have copied and pasted below:
    ——————————-
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.
    ———————————————-

I can’t access the blog directly or through the dashboard because any way I try to get in leads to this error page. Here’s my site with the blog link at top: https://marklaroi.com/

I’m not a real whiz with the techs so any help would be greatly appeciated.

  • Can you FTP into your server and look for an error log? Did you recently change themes, upgrade any plugins or upgrade WP itself?

The only change I had made before this happened was to change a widget. It’s just a “what I’m currently reading” in the sidebar with a simple link. It worked immediately after but was down the next day.

I looked for the error log but could not find any file titled “error” anywhere in the WP files.

I’m just gonna give up. Thanks anyway.

I’ve got the same problem since four days back. All I did was putting some “ad-codes” on the text-widget at the sidebar. Could anyone help me with this?
