Getting 404′s from old posts

Sp when I changed the theme of my site I ran “wordpress reset” apparently the posts didn’t really get removed. Since Im getting a 5-10 404’s each day from Old posts (which I cannot see in wordpress) that was posted on the old theme. How to I locate these and delete them? Im no ttalking about xlearing the 404 log, but removing then all before they show up there. I wan tto remove All posts before a certian date for exmaple.
