    Hi,

I assume you have root access to your server ?

from surface I don’t see anything abnormal.

    please check that :

    1. when you get 404 , I assume that only happens on rewrite-rule based URL , a real file URL like static css/js/img , they always works , correct ?

    2. when that happens , does it happen to one or few pages , or happens on all pages ?

    3. I don’t think the issue is from plugin , you may need to enable debug log on LSWS and trigger the issue , the log should state why it gives 404

for 3) , you may wanna create a ticket with LiteSpeed support , by mail to support at litespeedtech.com

Not sure what you are asking… If your asking if I can browser to ie. domaine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/filename.jpg, I did not have the reflex to try that.

    2. when that happens , does it happen to one or few pages , or happens on all pages ?

The homepage is usually never affected by this symptom. It does happen on a few pages inside the Website.

    3. I don’t think the issue is from plugin

I do think you are right about this one… I have a website on another server, that is also LiteSpeed. But this site doesn’t have LS Cache on it. And I’ve just got this error yesterday on it also.

…you may need to enable debug log on LSWS and trigger the issue , the log should state why it gives 404

Would you be able to point me to a tutorial on how to enable debug log? And how to manually trigger the issue (if that’s possible to do manually…)?

    Regards,
    Phet

    Hi,

    1) yes , static resources like that , does it give 404 as well ?

    2) but is it ALL pages , or only few of them ?

    3) you can edit file /usr/local/lsws/conf/httpd_config.xml

    find 3 lines of follow

    <logLevel>DEBUG</logLevel>
    <debugLevel>0</debugLevel>
    <enableAioLog>1</enableAioLog>

change loglevel to DEBUG , debugelvel to 10 , AIOlog to 0 , then systemctl restart lsws

this will enable debug log after LSWS restarted , the log file , assuming you are using cPanel , it will be /var/log/apache2/error_log

    Hey,

My still getting the same issue on a new site I’ve installed LiteSpeed Cache on…

So clearly I’m doing something wrong or something’s wrong with my server…

Here is a screen capture of the issue: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/3604668?key=d5e1382f6e5362565c91222870e7e275

You can see from the capture that this is affecting all the site, except the homepage.

If there is something I need to ask of my web hosting company, please let me know. I do not have the knowledge to change anything on the server.

    Hi,

if the issue still happens after you disabled the cache plugin , then you probably need to reach your hosting provider for further investigation

one more thing you may want to check , try go to setting -> permalink -> re-save it again , and check .htaccess , make sure you see the wordpress rewrite rule in to
