    have worked it out

    have changed wp-admin/options.php

    /**
    * Redirect back to the settings page that was submitted
    */
    $getreferer = wp_get_referer();
    $getreferer = substr($getreferer,10);
    $goback = add_query_arg( ‘updated’, ‘true’, esc_url(admin_url($getreferer)) );

    wp_redirect( $goback );
