  • Hi Connectw,

    looking at the code, I see that you have copied the right Form Action URL, but you have copied the form action tag as well.

    Go to Optin Forms, and under Email Solution tab, change the Form Action URL from

    <form action="//serenacrossfield.us5.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=84de9e044e7d60fad82fbe2a5&id=9114888d41""

    to

    //serenacrossfield.us5.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=84de9e044e7d60fad82fbe2a5&id=9114888d41

    Let me know it you were able to fix it ??

    Oh! thank you.
    I changed the form action URL and it appears to work. It takes me to a sign up form that says there are errors on the page and asks for imputing separate fields of first and last name. Would I be correct in understanding that this is due a setting in MailChimp for including all of the fields? I have been testing out different styles of forms and some ask for separate first name/ last name? Style2 only asks for an email address.

    Hi Connectw,

    You can use other forms as well, as long as your MailChimp settings don’t require any other fields apart from the email address and the first name field. For example, if you require the last name, it will result in an error.

    You can manage the required fields in your MC settings.
