Getting 404

    Hi,

    I’ve been getting 404 on questions just after I have posted something. I’m also getting a 404 on anspress categories. It was working fine, and as far as I know I haven’e done anything to cause it.
    I have noticed that the questions once posted have this at the end of the url /70/70/. I’m not sure what’s going on.

  • Go to WordPress Permalinks and SAVE settings.

    I figured out the problem.
    When I set an anspress page to the homepage it affects all anspress pages. You can post a question, but it will then redirect to a 404, the same for category and tags.
    I ended up using another plugin that displays the anspress page on a different page so I can use it as the homepage.

    For setting questions in your home page, create a new page and add [anspress] shortcode in it. and set this page as home page.

    You can pass this attributes:
    [anspress categories="jquery" tags="test, lorem" tax_relation="AND" tags_operator="AND" categories_operator="AND"]

    AND, DO NOT SET YOUR AnsPress BASE PAGE AS HOME PAGE

    And, dont pass attributes with base page shortcode.
