get_links() changed in 2.1?

  • Since upgrading to WP 2.1 yesterday my some of my links are not displaying properly. I traced the problem to the get_links() template tag. Has something about this tag been changed in 2.1? My template is exactly the same as when I was using 2.0.x, but all of the sudden this tag is giving me problems.

  • Try wp_list_bookmarks() instead.

    This is frustrating. There was nothing wrong with get_link(). Furthermore, the codex give no indication that get_links() won’t work. I can certainly understand adding a new template tag, but why take this old one away? All this does for me is give me a lot of tedious tweaking to do.

    EDIT: Plus, the examples in the codex don’t work.
