Get variation image (instead of variable image)

  • Hi,

    I am not getting the variation image in my feed. I unchecked the setting “Use parent variable product image for variations” and I matched g:image_link to “Main image simple and variations” but I am always getting the main image of the variable product and not the main image of the variation.

    Is this possible in your plugin?

  • Hi Christoph,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. You would need to leave the default field mapping in place for the g:image field. Just map it to “Main image”. The plugin will then automatically use the variation product images when set.

    Thank you, that was the fix.
    I had set it to this in the first place, but it didn’t work, strange. Maybe, Google didn’t update it directly.
