get stuck in step 1 when updating

  • Hi,

    Cannot update to the latest wordpress version. This is already a problem for a long time whatever I do. Have now deactivated all plugins but still nothing is happening. Cannot even upload a new plugin.

    The problem is that nothing happens after I download the new version or plugin, and then it starts to unpack … and then it stops nothing is happening.

    someone any idea what to do? my hosting company just says ‘try again’ but I’ve tried so many times it drives me nuts.

    Do you have sufficient disk space available? Where are you hosting?

    Am hosting at bhosted.nl and should have sufficient disk space. You always get a message if you have too little so you can upgrade and they give you time to do this.
