Get specific term field on template

Hello, I’m trying to add to my template a field of certain taxonomy (event-category) which is it’s color (field: color) and I’ve read in the docs that using [post_terms]: “Output: post type terms. if return value is an array, it will be migrated to string by using explode function”
How can I use this function to get the specific array key I need (color) please?

or, if it’s not possible, is there a way to add a line of php on the template?
