get rid of this **** UL LI tags !

WP has those tags so we may style our content using CSS.

You can either dig around the template tags section of the wiki looking for tags that will allow you to define your own separators, or you can learn enough CSS to make the lists ‘invisible’. The latter option is preferred and you will likely get a lot more support if you go down that route.

Those ul and li things are really useful. Once you get the hang of them you can do anything at all. You might be new to them I know; but hang in there. Good luck.

They are lists, and so they are marked up as lists. That’s what semantic markup is all about. If you don’t like the way lists look, then make them look different. It’s not hard; a little CSS is all you need, and then you’ll have them look like whatever you want while still being what they really are: lists.

Well – you could mark them up as dl dt as well though couldn’t you?

yeah, ul and li are really useful like Root says, I don’t see why you don’t like them. However, if you really hated them so much just open up the template and replace them with breaks or something. They achieve similar results I supposed.

but i mean just let the Designer to decide about his tags and how to use them ! not to make it to USE ul ol or …. and use CSS 4 changing it !
some where that i named r like that ! U must have ul li tags with any direct control over them !
but i really like them !
and like all new ways like that …;)

use the wp.php file in the wordpress directory. That is basically a barebones index.php without any styling.
