Get rid of tags in text emails?

    Hi amof,
    Thanks for your message.

    This is actually a two-part problem.
    Firstly, WordPress makes it difficult to format transactional emails and secondly, there is an issue where wpautop is automatically inserting HTML when Plain Text is selected. The next version of the plugin will have an option to add / remove this on a per notification basis.

    I’ll leave this thread open until the next release is out which should hopefully fix things for you.

    Thanks Jack. I figured you would have a fix in the next version. I tried fixing the wpautop problem myself but did not succeed in the small amount of time I spent on the problem.

    No probs.

    It should be out pretty soon, i’ve just come across a few more bugs recently so it’s delayed things a bit.

    Ok, this should now be fixed in the latest release, available shortly.
    Please have a read through the Changelog for anything that may effect you.
