Get rid of snow on Enigma Theme

  • Recently I noticed on my entire webpage that snow is falling and follows the cursor. I searched everywhere and can’t find where to disable that? How do I turn off the ‘snow effect’

    Go to your enigma theme directory -> open customizer.php file and see line no. 6 –

    wp_enqueue_script('snow', get_template_directory_uri() .'/js/snowstorm.js');

    remove the above code and save the file.

    I removed the line mentioned above, but still getting the snow..
    i removed all the lines that have “snow” in them, but still getting snow.

    You need to remove the java script also

    within the directory you need to delete the following in the js folder of the theme enigma

    query.snowfall.js and snowstorm.js

    I tried removing both the snow is still falling on my web site. please help. Thanks!

    Unbelievable that this snow feature is on by default and has no toggle to disable. Wow. Poorly done.

    How to delete the folder? can i just delete the content of that folder?

    I deleted everything that was under js folder snowfall.js and snowstrom.js and jquery.snowfall.js pages of html code and the snow is still there! really! please tell how to go to and older version so I don’t have to deal with this any more. I am probably going to try another template. had it. Gary

    Luckily I upgraded in test env first and once I did see the snow and this thread I decided to not upgrade prod
    I’m starting to think I need to look for some other template
    – first the annoying “please rate me” that never goes away and keeps coming back after every upgrade. I don’t mind the rate me splash but do the way many other plugin does it – with options like “yes I will”,”maybe later after I used it more than 2 seconds”,”no – just go away”.
    – then this snow that can’t be disabled

    Yes, this theme was really poorly made.

    I’ve done everything listed here. SNOW WON’T STOP! Please tell me how to stop it ASAP!!!

    this should definitely be an option that you can select and deselect. very unprofessional! How do you revert back to a previous update?
