get recent comment plugin and page passwords

I got a real serious issue with get recent comment plugin and page password. What am facing is

1)A password protected page keeps on prompting for password when the plugin is activated

2)once you deactivate the plugin and type in the password you get logged in. Now if you just reactivate it again and type the url of the password protected page, it never asks for the password at all, until you clear up the cookies or recheck the “allow pings” and save it.

I really dont understand this issue at all.. iam sick of all this bullshit. It has already taken my whole week but nobody is willing to help me..

I have reinstalled wordpress more than the developers would have done. All my plugins updated.. i’ve checked the same plugin with the same wordpress on another blog of mine at other host and it works fine.. I thought it was a theme issue.. i changed the theme to the wordpress default, still no donuts for me..

Please ! Please ! if anybody is gonna solve this issue ill be grateful.
