Get email alerts about comments (but comments are disabled)

    I get emails about “Comment event”s but comments are disabled. How is this possible?

    Surely if comments are disabled, comment events should be impossible?

    Hello,

    Seems like some user sends a request directly to your?wp-comments-post.php. Your script doesn’t post the comment, but our plugin intercepts the request before wp-comments-post.php will decline it.

    You can try to restrict direct access to wp-comments-post.php and/or disable comments protection in the CleanTalk plugin settings (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings)
