Get directory of selected theme from theme switcher?

    I don’t quite know how to explain this, but I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now with no luck.
    Is it possible to insert a call somewhere that will pull up the directory of the active theme? As in the theme that the user selected? Because I like my website to be as dynamic as possible, and sometimes each theme needs a part of the layout to be different for it to work. I’d appreciate it if someone who knows what I’m talking about could word what I’m trying to say in a more appropriate way. Thanks for your time ??
