Get Attachment pages (images) in the sitemap?

    I have a number of images used as feature images to custom posts.
    I have customized a ‘single-attachment.php’ template to display them.
    I am trying to display those in the sitemap, but they don’t: they either get the attached post, or the image URL, but not the URL of the attachment template.
    Do I miss something?
    Any workaround?
