    Hello all,
we updated from WP1.2 to 1.5. We are using feed2js (including magpierss), so that other users can easily implement our news on their sites.
But since we updated, all specialchars get strangely displayed in wp-rss2.php.The word f??r for example gets displayed as “f & #38; uuml ; r” (without spaces). In the Blog itself this isn’t a problem, the word is displayed as f??r (as it should ;)).
So I thought maybe it’s a problem of feed2js and decided to write an own script (based on magpierss). There I get the following funny phenomena. The word “f??r” gets displayed as f& uuml ;r (without spaces again). When I look in the source, it gets displayed as f& amp ; uuml ;r (without spaces again). Why is this? Has anyone a solution for this problem?

    Thanks and with kind regards

This seems to be a plugin problem. For a simple test just deactivate all plugins and look if the output is still scrambled. It may have also something to do with character encoding. Could you post a link to the site?
