    Hi

I am unable to get the text translated into Deutsch, esp the Start Date, End Date, Time and Location fields. I have tried all Deutsch language versions in WP Settings. Am I missing out something?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi BM,

Strange, plugin is almost fully translated into (regular) German. You should set the language to german as well in your dashboard. But apparently you’ve already done that?

If you’ve already set default site language to German, please check folder wp-content/languages/plugins for the presence of the German po/mo translation file of my plugin.

    Hi
The .po and .mo files( German and Dutch) are present in the desired location. The Dutch version is displayed nicely with all translated text in place. In the German version, it is only getting partially translated. I think this is not an issue as such and which can be ignored. However, it would be better if it can be resolved.

Thank you again for such a nice plugin!

I don’t understand this, because the plugin is almost fully translated into German. Could you show me a page/event where’s it’s not fully translated? The link you gave me is English only.

ps. verder communiceren in het NL?

    Hi Guido
I know that the plugin is almost fully translated into German. I posted my reply w.r.t the current scenario I am observing. I might be missing something in the configuration.

    Pls. follow this URL:

Guess you’re not using a multilanguage plugin? There are 2 different event pages, am I correct? How did you create the event list in 2 languages?

I might add so called shortcode attributes for the labels (Event Date, Location, etc) in the future, in that case you can customize your labels per event list (via each shortcode).

    Hi Guido

As you might be aware of the fact this is a multisite and in order to keep it lightweight I didn’t use a multilingual plugin. The network has 5 subsites ( 1 English, 3 Deutsch and 1 in Dutch languages). I created the events list individually for each of the subsites. The text content is in the respective language. In other words, the events are created separately for each subsite in the desired language. Hope this makes sense, as this seems to be very rudimentary in nature. However, it serves my purpose.

    3 Deutsch

If the site-language of the sub-sites is set accordingly, this might explain the issue you’re having: my plugin is only (almost) fully translated into regular German.

Thank you for your wonderful support and I shall look forward for 100% translation into German language.
