    I tried to set up the calender in German, but it appears that the language file for de.php is not yet translated.

    As I was unable to find the respective part in the documentation (okay, it’s late, maybe due to that) I was wondering a.) whether it is correct that there’s no german translation yet and b.) how could I translate the Plugin myself?

    Regards
    Michaela

    Hi,

    a) Yes most of the translation files in the booking system are not translated. I don’t have someone to do it and google translate does a poor job.

    b) Open the files dopbsp/translations/backend/de.php & dopbsp/translations/frontend/de.php with any text editor and trasnlate from english to german. To add the language in the Front End Booking Calendar use the shortcode [dopbs lang=de].

    Many thanks for your quick reply!

    Unfortunately, my client insists on sticking with their old system, but in my opinion your plugin is just great and definetly on my favourites list for future projects.

    One more question so: While checking the calender on iphone, the Browser tends to freeze.

    The only other plugin I use ist Thumbnail Scroller – Might there be a jQuery issue?

    Hi,

    I think there is a bug in the iPhone browser when javascript has 2 touch screen events defined. The only solution I see for the Booking Calendar now is to add an option to disable the info tooltip on mobile devices.

    Okay. This is something you would need to do, wouldn’t you?

    As unfortunately I am not going to use the calender for this specific client, there’s no hurry from my side, but it would be great if you’d could find a solution maybe for future updates.

    Many thanks for your great and quick support!

    Yes I will add this option in the next update.

    I really like your plugin, thank you for your work.

    I translated both ‘de’ language files (German) (If you tell me where to send, i can send them to you to include them. Perhaps you could give me a licence or whatever you would like).

    The frontend works fine, but for some reasons the backend keeps in English, even though i changed the language (upper right corner in booking system dashboard).

    Any ideas what goes wrong, or i am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Hello,

    You can send the files to [email protected]
    For Front End you need to add the shortcode like [dopbsp lang=de]

    Regards

    Thanks, for the quick answer. frontend/de.php and backend/de.php will come later today.

    Sorry to insist: my frontend already is fine in German (using the lang parameter in the shortcode). My problem is the backend, which is still in English (see my first post).

    Hi there, great that you work on a German translation! If you need someone to review your translateion, do not hesitate to send me the two German-Language-Files… Regards, Ingo

    @windball
    Thank for the files. I will reply to your message tomorrow. My support system was down all day and they said will fix the problem by tomorrow.

    @ifrost
    Thank you for your offer.

    Hi there,

    I also got the problem of not being able to change the backend language to German. As @windball already said after changing the language in the top right corner the backend still is in English everntough the language file is completely translated.

    Do I need to change it elsewere or ist this a bug?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    In the current version you need to modify the file booking-system/translation/backend/de.php. IN the next version (1.3) we added a Back End editor.

    Thank you
