GeoNames Error

    Hi,
    WP GeoNames does not install correctly.
    1. I uploaded and installed zip file
    2. I installed it with Plugins
    Both ways it does not work and I get error message below:

    Warning: file_get_contents(): https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /var/www/web229/html/datinghawk.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-geonames/wp-geonames.php on line 8

    I need it to use with RENCONTRE.
    Do I really need GEONAMES?

    Please help…
