Is it possible, in the next update, to put an option to NOT make Google Geocoding API requests?

In WP Job Manager, the API is optional and without it “the location entered in the Location field when submitting a job will be stored as a single text string in the _job_location custom field.”

However, the import does not have an option not use the API and without a key it just switches to the limit/free API, which simply is giving 100s of rejected requests.

    Thanks.

    Hi @tjalexander70

You can actually do this now by importing the _job_location field via the Custom Fields section: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/custom-fields/theme-plugin-fields/. Just don’t put the location in our Add-on section.

However, the import does not have an option not use the API and without a key it just switches to the limit/free API, which simply is giving 100s of rejected requests.

I see what you mean. I’ll add an internal task to make sure we’re not making requests when the location field is empty, or the API key is empty, in a future release.
