• Love the plugin!
I am using Postie and publish most of my posts via email as I am often offline.
Is there a way to include geolocation data in the email (using tags or such) such that Novo-Map automatically creates a market for the post at this geo location? Having to come back in when I am online and manually editing each post just to add the location is cumbersome.
    Thanks a lot!

  • Typically you need to create a custom Postie AddOn that knows how to set the geo location specific to Novo-Map. This has been done before for other mapping plugins.

Thanks Wayne, that is supper helpful.
I think I can figure this out.
My problem is, however, I am not sure where Novo-Map stores the geolocation data in/associated to the post. So in the code executed by postie_post_before before posting, what are the field names for lat and long that I need to populate?.
    Thanks for your help!
    Andy

I don’t know either. That would be a good question for the Novo-Map folks to answer.
