    Hello,

I’m using GeoDirectory to create multiple Listing types on my website and after an issue with the Search feature, I found out it is a conflict with Complianz.

I enabled GeoDirectory in the Add-on settings, went through all the settings again to make sure I didn’t forget anything, the maps and the rest are fine but the Search still won’t work.

I contacted GeoDirectory support and they told me to contact you so here I am.

If you could check the issue or tell me what to do,
    Thank you!

I don’t think we have an integration with them yet, there’s probably a url/script that needs to be blocked before consent.

If you share the url I can take a look.

Alternatively you can disable the Google maps integration in complianz/integrations/services.

    Hi Rogier,

    Thank you for your response.
I’m confused about the integration since Complianz proposes to enable the plugin in the Add-on settings along with Elementor, ACF and Contact Form 7 (which I use also and have no issue with).

I already disabled Google Maps in the the Services settings, I use Open Street Map, not Google maps.
But I have no problem with the maps or anything, only with the Search feature. When Complianz is activated, it won’t let me hit the Search button, which is very strange considering that it works when I click on a suggested result. It’s only the Search button that’s causing the issue.

My website is in maintenance mode, I’m still working on it. I’ll deactivate the mode tomorrow (today for you, probably, when you’ll read this message) so you can take a look.

    Hi @vinem,

Could you disable ACF under Complianz – Integrations and see if this works?

    Hi @aahulsebos,

    Yep, now it works!

Is this a problem? I don’t use ACF to get any sensitive data from my users or to display data from other parties but still, I’m not sure to understand how GDPR really work, so…

Thank you for your help ??

    Hi @vinem,

No ACF can stay off, it’s specific to their Maps integration.

    Thanks, have a nice weekend,

    Hello @aahulsebos

I am having this same issue. However I use the Google Maps API. The search function returns when I deactivate ACF integrations but then the map reverts to Open Street Maps, which I don’t want to use.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Hi @oonaghstaerckdesign If the troubleshooting already posted made no difference for you, then, as per the Forum FAQ, please post your own topic. A lot more people will see your post, and the original topic starter will not get notifications about your questions.
Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.
