Geocoding works intermittently

    Hi

    First of all I think this is a great plugin but I have run into some difficulties with Geocoding simply stopping at some point in the day.

    Set up appears correct and I have a geocodeme custom field that completes the geocode custom field to geocode a postcode. That’s all fine.

    However after successful attempts I start getting the “The geocoding request failed with status 200” error.

    I have gone through everything in this thread on GitHub but nothing appears to work.

    I’ve noticed it will work fine in the morning then stop later in the day which leads me to believe it’s an issue with API requests. Some other threads for another plugin have suggested my host (TSOHost) may be sharing API requests (hence the working in the morning but not later in the day).

    One suggestion is to change from a php based geocoder to a JS on as per Google’s advice but this is beyond my knowledge to begin to implement this.

    Has anyone experience similar or is there a solution I can possible try? This site is so close to launch and this is the only bug I’ve failed to overcome.

    To update.

    After extensive research there seem very little that can overcome the Google API issue, without investing in Google or a dedicated server.

    On this occasion I switched to Leaflet and MapBox to style, so far so good.
