• Hello,

When I read through the documentation, it looked very clear on how to setup a static location where everyone who views the website can view the same weather location. I would like to use the plugin to automatically load a weather page based upon geolocation and give the user the option of manually typing and viewing any other location. Is there documentation on how to do this? Or could you help me figure it out?
    Thanks.

OK, so create a “normal” weather, then, when you edit it, if you have WP Cloudy Geolocation plugin enabled, you’ll see a new metaboxe called WP Cloudy Geolocation.
    Just check:
    Enable geolocation on this weather
    and if you want:
Force geolocation on this weather when page loads?
    Save! That’s it!

OK, I’m able to get something to load, but it appears it’s for weather in South Africa. (I’m in the states). And the map is not loading and there’s no place to manually input another location. Any idea what the problem could be?

Is this something you can help with?

@rainbowgeek I’ve deleted your ask for credentials. Never do that in these forums, OK?

I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly accepting credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site should not be one of them.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
