Geo Targetted Ads in Widgets

I’ve got the AALB plugin working and geotargetting ads in posts correctly.

I don’t want to add another geo targeting tool and create ad-sets per Amazon country so is there a way I can use the AALB geo targetting functionality in a sidebar widget?

I tried creating post ads for two countries and pasting shortcodes in widgets but they just display the code and not the ads. I also tried a template but that just shows the code as well.

Tips appreciated.
