Hi there, I’m wondering whether this plugin is capable of locking down content to one specific country or region, whilst keeping the rest of the website accessible to all?

    For example:

Post A is required to be viewed by U.S. IP Addresses only while the remainder of the content is still visible globally.

It would need to be a post geo lock, as opposed to entire website or category.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Shane

Hi Shane, the free version works with shortcodes. So you wrap content inside a shortcode and choose which country shouldn’t or should see it.

Premium version does that and much, like entire posts. take a look at https://geotargetingwp.com

Thanks Damian. So if using a shortcode wrapper, I imagine it would be something like this?

    [geotarget_shortcode] Post Content [geotarget_shortcode]

Or, is it needed to be done at code level?

yes but the correct shortcode is

    [geot country=”US”] Post content[/geot]
