You could opened a topic in the support forum instead of a review, i would answer your request as soon as possible.
About your issues, both situations don’t exist on this plugin and aren’t promised on his description has you can confirm here. You don’t see anywhere that the plugin claims to do/use Geo-location services and also that you can scan barcodes (you can indeed add barcodes and use a third-party plugin to generate the barcode if you want to, although it’s not the main reason for this plugin to exist).
I am sorry about this confusion, I hope you will reconsider your rating, I work hard in my spare time to make this plugin a reality (many users consider it useful) and a one star rating is a bit harsh.
