    I am not quite sure if understood you correctly. Have you an URL of your site?

    If your current homepage is widgetized you can use my widget to place any page teaser/ content there.

    Note, that the plugin is only a widget it does nothing to your layout structure in general.

    You can use it side by side with the built-in Genesis featured page widget — or replace widgets of the core widget with that new one. Just like you want.

    For changing homepage to another static page go to WordPress > Settings > Reading

    If the logo is in your header then you can not use widgets — but if using your logo on a widgetized area, then you could use my widget plugin and in the widget settings choose a custom image via the uploader.

    So maybe I was wrong direction just explain a bit more or screenshot if you want.
