Genesis Theme – Home Page Support

    The drop cap plugin works great when the span code is inserted into individual blog posts, and displayed on the blog post page. When those same posts are aggregated to the home page (Metro Pro Theme), the drop cap letter just disappears.

    I’m a novice, so I suspect that I’m missing something basic in how best to implement/use this plug-in.

    Hi Michael,

    That’s intended behavior to disable drop cap on home page and archive pages because there are some conflicts with some themes that break site layout.

    But the feature is available in the pro version to disable or enable drop cap on homepage.

    Thanks for the very fast response! I will investigate the pro version, but this is more of a “nice to have” than a “must have”.
