Genesis: The parent theme is missing

    Hi
    I have correctly installed genesis onto me wordpress themes and it seems to be working. however when I downloaded a child theme I keep getting a message that says:

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    Romo The parent theme is missing. Please install the “genesis” parent theme.

    I don’t understand why I am getting this when I have installed genesis. The child theme was bought on Mojo themes so I paid for it. please help
