Genesis Slider and Other Photo Gallery Plugins

    Just found out that as of Version 0.9.6, Genesis Slider can’t seem to find photos that have been set up as a featured image if the image was uploaded by a gallery plugin (i.e. NextGen).

    I wasted some hours trying to figure out what was wrong. Be warned.

    Hope DirectoryPress fixes the problem soon.

    Just found out that as of Version 0.9.6, Genesis Slider can’t seem to find photos that have been set up as a featured image if the image was uploaded by a gallery plugin (i.e. NextGen).

    Neither will any other plugin or theme that uses the image handling built into WP. NextGen uses its own image handling and in incompatible with pretty much any slider that wasn’t written by them.
