    Hi Frank, I don’t want you to spend ages on this, just asking whether you know of any configuration changes I should make if using Genesis Responsive slider (working on a new site and wanting to use Autoptimize again).

    I’ve tried disabling HTML, JS, CSS one at a time (and variations of the tick boxes), but with each group disabled each time it still causes layout issues with the slider; the Post pushes the image beneath itself, whereas the image should be layered under the post. I’ve cleared the cache each time etc and it’s really affecting the iPad primarily it seems in landscape mode….

    This is what I have in the Exclude scripts from Autoptimize: s_sid,smowtion_size,sc_project,WAU_,wau_add,comment-form-quicktags,edToolbar,ch_client,nonce,post_id,WPCOM,jQuery.js,jquery.flexslider.js

    My theme is behind an Under Construction page at the moment, but just wondering if you had come across anything in this support group. Many thanks for any pointers. Lins

    Hi Lindsay;
    Nothing comes to mind, seems like a combination of JS & CSS-related issues.

    “really affecting the iPad primarily is seems in landscape mode” jumps out. I would first try to get things working on a desktop browser (Chrome or Firefox?) and once that’s OK I’d look into the landscape-tablet problem (which is probably related to media-specific CSS).

    Regarding the exclusions; are you sure about the capital Q in jQuery.js?

    Hope this helps,
    frank

    OK, I’ve disabled the CSS Options and will monitor. It appears to be better behaved at the moment. Also changed the capital Q. Thanks for the pointers, very much appreciated.
