Genericons don't show on Mobile

I am using the current version of Responsive and face an issue which might point to the theme.
2 independent plugins which apply Genericons (Genericon’d and Quickshare) are beeing used in the current versions.
On Android and Symbian Mobile the Genericons are not showing anymore. Instead “empty rectangles” are showing…. Prior it worked seemless.
The Genericons work however seemless on a PC Browser IE, FireFox, Chrome…
