GeneratePress Theme & Speed?

    Hello. Using your plugin currently on a development site based on Generatepress and Generateblocks, both Premium versions. Liking the plugin but it seems to kill performance in the back end where navigating between, eg, full list of Pages and full list of Plugins is seconds slower when plugin is active. Deactivate plugin and all returns to being fast – hosting with Kinsta.
    Any ideas?


    Edited to add: not just backend, front as well.

    Hello Matc! Thanks for the message. I’ve had a couple reports of this in the past and it’s been very hard to diagnose, it seems to happen only to some users in some cases and I haven’t been able to replicate reliably. That being said, I have made some changes in a version that I’m currently working on. If you can email me at [email protected] I can shoot that new version over to you so you can give it a test and some feedback!

    Following up here — it appears this was largely due to strange caching issues going on in the theme. I’ll continue to follow up here though if anything else happens on this issue!
