    I make a backup on tvu-09.tastewp.com.

With super-quick migration I restore this backup on a Local WP install.

At first sight it looks fine, but several options in the Customizer from the theme (GeneratePress, free version) are not restored (or not even saved in the first place, not sure): Website information, Layout, Colors, Typography, Widgets etc.

Menus and Additional CSS seem to be saved correctly.

This makes the backup/restore a lot less useful as many Customizer options will have to be manually restored …

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Rejoiced to early. Sorry, but it’s still there.

I have re-created the site on TasteWP.com and created a backup here:
    https://hatefulminister.tastewp.com/

Then I created another TasteWP-site and imported that backup with a link:
    https://unwieldyflower.tastewp.com/

Everything seems fine, but when you open the Customizer the preview looks weird and several settings are not in the Customizer anymore:

    – Website information > Logo is huge (and not 100px)
    – Layout > Container is 1200px (instead of 960px)
    – Colors are lost for Header and Navigation (not even in the palette)
    – Sidebars show up on all pages (and were disabled before)
    – Widgets in the Footerbar with two links is not there anymore

If I cancel the Customizer everything remains fine.

But if I change any setting in the Customizer and click on Publish, all these lost settings are applied to the site.

You can recreate it like this:
    – create a TasteWP-site
    – import backup with link from the hatefulminister.tastewp.com
    – open Customizer
    – change any setting
    – Publish Customizer changes
Then it will look like unwieldyflower.tastewp.com

    Hi @pmmueller

If you mean customizer options etc., yes there was an update already.
You can check it out using latest version.

Let me know if that’s what you asked for ??
    Thank you!
